Federation of Sexual and Gender Minorities, Nepal (FSGMN), founded in May , is the first and the only network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and Intersex (LGBTIQA+) organizations in Nepal, with 35 affiliated community-based organizations (CBOs) and 53 offices in 32 districts. Vision: A society in which all sexual and gender minorities are respected and they are able to live with.

Jessica Stern, the United States special envoy to advance the human rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI+) persons, is in Nepal to take stock of the situation of the sexual and gender minorities in the country. During her visit, she met with government officials.
